iSEE CHURCH makes every effort to uphold our commitment to the safety, protection and well-being of all children and young people - creating safe spaces for connection and community across all our campuses Australia Wide.
CHILD PROTECTION
a policy of safety for every child
We are committed to providing a safe environment by putting the following measures in place to ensure the safety of our young people:

Parental consent for all persons under the age of 18 to engage in online interaction provided by iSEE CHURCH (see permission form below) as well as parental consent for us to contact your child for youth purposes

A minimum of 2 leaders, over the age of 18 who have a current Working with Children check and are currently compliant with iSEE Safer Churches Training to host the meeting and be the first attendees present and last attendees to leave the youth event and/or online meeting

A minimum of 2 leaders, over the age of 18 who have a current Working with Children check and are currently compliant with iSEE Safer Churches policies and training, present at all youth gatherings and events. In situations where there are both male and female young people present, there will always be a male and female leader present as well

All leaders over the age of 18 will hold a current working with children check at all events hosted by iSEE YOUTH

Transport permissions will also be issued prior to a young person being transported by iSEE YOUTH or one of our leaders

All volunteers within iSEE CHURCH (including iSEE YOUTH) undergo safer churches training prior to serving at iSEE CHURCH. This includes training in our child protection processes and policies
